Producer Commission Statement
March 27th, 2020
Our producer commission statement is now available online and we will no longer mailing them out with the monthly commissions payments. You must first register as a producer.
Producer Initial Sign On
Nov. 5, 2018
If you have previously written a policy through the Minnesota FAIR Plan and have registered as a producer, it is not necessary to register again on this system. Each Agency has been assigned a User Id (Agency Code) and temporary password, which will then prompt you to create a new password. We will send out an email with this information, but if you need access prior to receiving it please contact our office at 612-338-7584 or 1-800-524-1640.
New Policy Management System
Oct. 25, 2018
The MN FAIR Plan is replacing our current policy management system at the end of October 2018. This change over will result in our online services being down form 12:00 pm on October 31, 2018 to 8:00 am November 5, 2018. If you need to submit an application during that period, please contact our office at 612-338-7484.
The new system will assist in increasing efficiencies in processing applications, policy changes and claims. However, it is being installed in several phases, so not all functionalities will be available on November 5.
Here is some information on what to expect with our new system:

Agent Sign on
Your current agent sign on will allow you to log in to the new system. Once logged in you will be required to reset your password.
If you do not have a current sign on, you will be required to create an account. Instructions will be available on our website on how to create your account.
Quick Quotes
Quotes will be available through our website and can be obtained without logging into the system.
Applications
Applications will be submitted on line through your agent portal accessed through our website and will require that you are logged in. After completing the application, you can print or email the application to the insured for their signature. All documents required to be submitted with the application can be attached and submitted with the application, which will reduce process time of the application. We will begin accepting emailed or faxed signed applications and you will no longer be required to mail in the signed application.
The new system is integrated with the ISO data base and will automatically assign the correct protection class based on the insured location address.
Phase 2 of our implementation will include the electronic signature option for both the agent and insured. We hope to have this operational shortly after our initial go-live date and will update you when it is available.
Commissions
Commissions will continue to be paid monthly and at the same levels of 12% for new business and 5% for renewal. However, our EFT payment system will not be available until later in Phase 2 and initially all commission payments will be by check.
Changes/Documents
When logged into your agent portal you will be able to view, print or email policy documents as well as request policy changes. Electronic document delivery is another service that will be part of Phase 2 of our implementation and not available until a later date.
Payments
Online payments will continue to be available through our website, and in addition to electronic checks, we will begin accepting credit card payments.
Claim Submission
Your will be able to submit claims directly through our website or your agent portal.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we transition to what will be a more efficient system for all.
