How Do I Register as a Producer
If you have previously written a policy through the Minnesota FAIR Plan and have registered as a producer, it is not necessary to register again on this system. You will use your existing user ID and password and will then be prompted to create a new password. If you have not previously registered with the Minnesota FAIR Plan as a user, complete the following steps:
From the Sign-in screen (finys.mnfairplan.org), select the “Register Producer” button.
Complete the “Request a Portal Account” box.
All fields shaded yellow must be completed.
Please read carefully Part II Certification and then Select “Submit Request”.
The registration application will be reviewed and may take up to 2 business days to assign a producer number.
The assigned FAIR Plan producer number and temporary password will be emailed to the email address that was previously submitted.
Enter your new producer number and temporary password.
The user will be prompted to change their password and create a security question.
Click “Save”.
Once you have a producer number, you may log into your portal to access:
- Quick Quotes
- New Application Submissions
- Endorsement Requests
- Cancellation Requests
- Submitting a payment / Billing information
- Reporting a Claim
